Voting at two polling stations, in Kolašin and Cetinje, should have been repeated because irregularities were established, which are provided by law as a reason for a mandatory repeat of the election, the Center for Democratic Transition (CDT) said.
At its session on Saturday, the State Election Commission (SEC) annulled the Decision of the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) Kolašin on repeating the election at polling station number 1 and the Decision of the Capital Election Commission on repeating the election at polling station 16.
In the CDT, they believe that the voting at those two polling stations should have been repeated, because irregularities were established, which are provided for in Article 89 of the Law on the Election of Councilors and Members of Parliament as a reason for the mandatory repetition of the election.
"The majority in the SEC decided to ignore these facts and, despite the obvious irregularities, annul the decisions of the MEC on repeating the elections, ignoring the proposals to order that any formal errors in the decisions be corrected and the elections repeated in accordance with the law", stated from CDT on Twitter.
