When every irregularity of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) is revealed and presented to the public, they consider it an "attack" on them, Democratic Montenegro announced today.

They reacted to yesterday's announcement by the DPS Board of the Capital City of Podgorica, which states, among other things, that "the attack on Andrija Čađenović, who managed the company Čistoća DOO during the period of its intensive development, in which Podgorica earned the epithet of one of the cleanest cities in this part of Europe, is nothing more than diverting attention from the affairs - the stalled investigations against Olivera Injac and gambling at the expense of the state".

"DPS has been "attacking" the foundations of Montenegrin justice, the economy of Montenegrin society, the life and existence of every honest citizen for three decades. As for the new city administration, there is no lack of creativity, enthusiasm and energy for the improvement of the Capital City, unlike you who built and improved only in those segments in which you could "fence" yourself and in certain ways obtain benefits for your party soldiers and henchmen," the Democrats' statement emphasized.

From that party, they added that the former management of the Podgorica company "Čistoća doo" allocated hundreds of thousands of euros in donations, but did so in secret.

"During the mandate of Čađenović, the company 'Čistoća d.o.o.' paid over 380 euros for various sponsorships, donations and assistance, all during the mandate of Andrija Čađenović. In addition to all that, it is even more tragic that the management of the company is led by Čađenović, together with Stanislav Martinović as president of the Board of Directors, demanded that the accounts of donations, donations and assistance to natural and legal persons do not have the names of the persons to whom the payments were made. That it can be seen that these are "professionals" in the pre-election distribution of citizens' money is also shown by the fact that that Podgorica utility company paid 185.000 euros in the name of donations, sponsorships and assistance to individuals and legal entities in the course of last year and in the first half of this year," said the Democrats.

They state that "in addition, in the period from January 1 to December 31, 2022, 255 transactions were carried out to help individuals and legal entities, and for this purpose over 35 thousand euros were paid, and when the mandate of the former executive director expired on the same basis, the Company paid out over 12 thousand euros, through 91 transactions".

"These are just some of the data that prove irregularities in the work of this company, to the detriment of the citizens. It is obvious that the staff of the Democratic Party of Socialists is not capable of leaving a company of the Capital City in the state it found at the beginning of its mandate, without us even thinking about it. to advance it," the Democrats said.

Also, they responsibly claim that the ability of the company "Čistoća doo" to perform its basic function, which is of public interest, is seriously threatened, because, as they state, of the 31 municipal waste removal vehicles, half are not in operation, that is, only 14 are.

"In addition, the poor household attitude towards this company automatically entails and calls into question the functioning of the company "Deponija", due to the unpaid obligations of "Čistoća doo" which amount to more than half of the debt of two million euros. Apparently from the management of this company there was an order to show fake business, in order to cover up the traces of illegal transfer of money to some other cash registers or pockets, as well as the accumulation of debt to other city enterprises," say the Democrats.

They also said that when the former director took over the head of the company, there were 531.000 euros in the account, and on 13.6.20203. year, at the end of his mandate, only 41.000 euros or 13 times less.

"It's not hard to be a pro at wasting and tearing down, it's hard to be a pro at creating something better. You don't need to worry about whether someone is a beginner in the business or not, the results will tell in the end. Some of us may be the first time in these positions, but we are certainly professionals in finding irregularities in the Montenegrin system that have negative consequences for citizens, as well as professionals in exposing all those who violated laws and abused official positions. Fear and nervousness in your ranks are growing day by day, and if you did as you say and were in the service of the citizens, these uneasy feelings would not even exist.
