The elections showed that the coalition for the future of Montenegro (ZBCG) is one of the most important political factors in the country. Despite the continuous attacks on us, we proved our strength and tenacity and showed that the Serbian people will be the backbone of the future government - said the MP and official of the ZBCG yesterday. Jovan Vučurović.
He said that the electoral will of the citizens must never be "evaded" during the formation of the Government.
"These are democratic postulates and political logic that we need after all those bad experiments and experiences we had with the 42nd and 43rd governments. We want everyone to have a correct and fair approach in the negotiations, and I have no doubt that we will then quickly reach an agreement", said Vučurović in an interview with Dan.
He said that they do not want Montenegro to "adjust according to the wishes of individual ambassadors", but according to the interests of its citizens.
"We warned during the pre-election campaign, but also years ago, about this bad influence from some addresses, as well as about the humiliation that Montenegro suffers from certain embassies, which literally train strictness in Montenegro. That doesn't work with us, but, unfortunately, there are those who blindly follow those orders. Nevertheless, we trust in the maturity of all political actors who should form the government, and that according to the results of the elections, and not according to the wishes of individual ambassadors who thought they were the occupying authorities. So, to ask the people, not the embassies. And to be completely clear - we want cooperation with everyone, both with the USA and the EU, but on a partnership basis, and not for someone to try to introduce us to a colonial status", said Vučurović.
He announced that the new government will have several priorities, and that the ZBCG coalition believes that the focus must be on the rule of law and the fight against organized crime and corruption, "the complete dismantling of the former regime", economic reforms that will enable a better life for citizens and the creation of society. in which all nations and citizens will be equal.
"We, as the headquarters of that government, will give our full contribution to the realization of those principles, which are the most important on the way to the EU," concluded Vučurović.
