The session of the Zeta parliament, which was supposed to discuss the dismissal of its head Luka Krstović (Democrat), was not held today because there was no quorum for it. A new session was scheduled for 13:XNUMX p.m., on the annulment of the Government's decision on the recognition of Kosovo on the territory of Zeta, but there was no majority for its maintenance either.
The meetings were not attended by the councilors of the Zeta Future club, without whom there cannot be a quorum, and who submitted initiatives regarding Krstović and Kosovo.
Vesko Rašović, head of the Zeta Future club, told "Vijesti" that they did not attend the sessions because they wanted to give the Democrats the opportunity to propose a new leader of the local parliament.
"This is not a concession to the Democrats, but to the citizens of Zeta. We expect the Democrats to propose a new president of the Municipal Assembly (SO), so that we can start solving Zeta's problems, which are big," he pointed out.
Yesterday, the Zeta Future Club announced that they would not attend the session, saying that they have a majority in favor of Krstović's dismissal, but that by not attending, they demonstrate their willingness to continue cooperation with the Democrats.
The president of the Zeta committee of the Socialist People's Party (SNP), Slađana Kaluđerović, told Vijesti that the party will not interfere in the calculations of the coalition Za buđućnost Zeta and the Democrats.
"We believe that the citizens of Zeta now more than ever need harmony and unity, in order to solve local problems together and respond to the challenges we face as an independent municipality," she stated.
The session of the Zeta parliament on the "recognition" of Kosovo was originally scheduled for June 11, after the closing of the polls in the parliamentary elections, but it was not held because there was no quorum for it even then - there were no councilors for the future of Zeta.
That club initiated the proposal regarding Kosovo at the end of April, a few days after Montenegro supported the proposal for Kosovo to join the Council of Europe.
After Krstović scheduled a session on the matter for June 11, at 20 p.m., his dismissal was requested.
SO Zeta has 32 council seats, 16 of which are held by the Zeta Future club, the Democrats six, the SNP one, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) eight, while the former representative of the Democrats, Nikola Rajović, acts as an independent councillor.
