The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, said that he is honored and pleased to be in Danilovgrad today, and that Danilovgrad is the first municipality he officially visits as the President of Montenegro.
"Danilovgrad has everything, good hosts, exceptional conditions for agricultural production, tourist potential, and an ideal position for even better development of the processing industry," said Milatović.
He visited the municipality of Danilovgrad and met with the president of the municipality Aleksandar Grgurović, the president of the municipal assembly Velimir Đoković, the vice-presidents of the municipality - Marija Radonjić and Dusko Stijepović, and members of the local parliament.
Milatović emphasized that the successful implementation of infrastructure projects is the key to the economic development of that region.
"I understood that, after the modification of the project documentation, the construction of the Martinić road will soon begin. The news is also good that work will soon begin on the roundabout in front of the elementary school and the health center, as well as the construction of a local road in Bandići with a length of 8.5 km, the reconstruction of part of the road towards the Ostrog monastery, and part of the road from Danilovgrad to Čevo", he said. is Milatović.
It was announced from the President's office that during the conversation with the representatives of the Municipality, Milatović was informed that the issue of the location of the new city cemetery as well as the landfill of bulky and construction waste had been resolved.
"I am sure that with the good intentions of all of us, and especially with joint work and effort and in cooperation with other state institutions, in the years ahead Danilovgrad will become a city where people come to live and work and a city where families want to stay ", added Milatović.
He emphasized that Danilovgrad should be a city recognized for good investments and credible investors.
"And not only Danilovgrad, the whole of Montenegro should be like that. And the basis for that is precisely good governance, which I know exists in Danilovgrad," Milatović assessed.
The President's office announced that as part of his visit to Danilovgrad, he also visited the Native Museum, the Art Colony and the Lazine Dairy.
