DPS Media Center: We strongly condemn the death threats addressed to the editor of the M portal Danica Nikolić

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) strongly condemns the death threats once again addressed to the editor of the M portal, Danica Nikolić, the Media Center of the DPS announced.

They said that the continuation of heinous threats that Nikolić and M portal receive continuously is, among other things, a consequence of the inaction of the competent state authorities.

"Unfortunately, certain media representatives have become hostages of their profession and one of the main targets of certain destructive groups in the bizarre socio-political environment present in Montenegro since August 30, 2020," the announcement states.

They pointed out that "in accordance with the valid regulations of our country, but also in the spirit of civilizational values, we consider any form of intimidation, silencing of free thought, publicly stated position as well as professional journalism unacceptable."

They called on the prosecutor's office to investigate the entire case this time to the end and bring all the perpetrators to justice.
