Andrija Mandić, president of the New Serbian Democracy and one of the leaders of the coalition for the future of Montenegro (ZBCG), said that this political alliance is waiting with great interest for the continuation of talks with the mandate for the composition of the new government, the leader of the Europe Now Movement, Milojko Spajić, in order to, " with respect for democratic principles and without any interference from the outside", agreed on a new executive power for which "Montenegro clearly declared in the elections".
"If he has good intentions, nothing will be difficult for us because the will of the people is well known to everyone," announced Mandic.
As he said, the ZBCG coalition is one of the winners in the elections and they want to negotiate with "colleagues who also participated in the victory over the former regime".
Mandic said that it "seems tragicomic" when the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) cares about the interests of any people in Montenegro.
"They implemented the worst anti-Serb policy and such discrimination has not been recorded in the last three decades in Europe," announced Mandic.
Acting President of DPS Danijel Živković said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has "his players" in Montenegro and that it is the ZBCG coalition, and that the story that there are no Serbs governing in Montenegro is a question of interference in the country's internal politics.
Mandić believes that Vučić did not interfere in the formation of the new Government of Montenegro, nor did he put pressure on anyone, but that he "very precisely" compared the situation in North Macedonia, where "Albanians hold almost all the levers of power", with the events in Montenegro Gori, in which, Mandić claims, "even the very entry of Serb representatives into the government is problematic".
"I remind you, the percentage of Serbs in Montenegro is much higher than the percentage of Albanians in S. Macedonia. It would be fair if they dedicated today's conference 'on interference in the internal affairs of Montenegro', for example, to the ambassador of Slovakia, who gave himself the right to draw up a new Government, while the President of Serbia never once said what the government of Montenegro should look like, but announced that different standards are being applied to Albanians in North Macedonia and Serbs in Montenegro," said the NSD president.
He said that the citizens "know very well" who is constantly interfering in the formation of the government in Montenegro.
"The ZBCG coalition is one of the winners of the elections on June 11, and on one side are us and the others who defeated the DPS, and on the other side are the same DPS and all those who supported Milo Đukanović in the presidential elections and who during the campaign for the parliamentary elections, they had the attitude that they would form the government together. Citizens know very well who constantly interferes in the formation of the government in Montenegro. It was not for nothing that we mentioned the embassies during the campaign that put pressure on political entities in Montenegro almost every day. Our ancestors created the Black Goru and we feel a special responsibility for the future of our country. We recently watched in Tetovo the welcome of Aljbin Kurti, who was declared the All-Albanian Prime Minister on that occasion, and we did not hear any announcement from any embassy, not even from Slovakia," said Mandić.
