The registration of the new party, whose pillar would be some former officials of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) who were or are still part of the current government, cannot be expected quickly because talks with potential founders are still ongoing.
"Vijesti" was the first to announce that the former president of the Assembly will Danijela Đurović, ministers Marko Kovač, Miomir Vojinović i Aleksandar Damjanović, after they resigned from the SNP before the recent parliamentary elections, to establish a new party that would inherit the values of the original SNP.
Her part should be i Nebojsa Vuksanovic, the holder of the SNP list in the local elections in Podgorica, which, along with the current director of the Health Fund Vuk Kadić, mentions as a possible leader.
Kadić told "Vijesta" yesterday that it is still too early to talk about the specific organization and way of acting, but that, as he said, it will certainly not be only this group of people that someone "intentionally" highlighted as the founders.
"I didn't need a political organization to express my political or any other opinion, so time will tell how this story will unfold," he said.
Nebojša Vuksanović recently told TV Adria that the correct information is that there is a group of people who are considering the possibility of forming some kind of movement. He explained that some of them participate or have participated in public life, while some were not known to the public until now, but, he claims, are proven professionals.
One of the founders of the new party explained that there is no rush to form a new movement because the current political situation leaves room for future action.
The source explained that they are ready to offer a new political story that, he said, goes beyond the SNP.
The original idea was to call that alliance the People's Movement, although some media reported that one of the options was to call it the "Forward" movement.
Several interlocutors said that the conditions for its registration have not yet been met, that is, that the support of people who are seen as its members has not yet been secured.
The deputy president of the Europe Now Movement was mentioned as one of them, and potentially the first Jakov Milatovic, who in the meantime was elected head of state. The plan was that during the compilation of the PES list for the parliamentary elections, Milatović would "push" loyal colleagues from the party who would later join him in the new movement, and he would be elected as its leader.
Milatović denied it, and Vuksanović said a few days ago that it was incorrect to mention him and that he should be asked directly about this story. However, it was confirmed to "Vijesti" earlier in PES that they knew about this idea, and a source involved in the formation of the new movement said that they had spoken with Milatović.
