The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovačevski, announced that he met with the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, in Athens today, and that they "expressed their readiness for the two countries to continue building on their excellent relations."
"Northern Macedonia and Montenegro have a strong mutual desire and willingness to continue building the excellent relations between our two countries," Kovačevski wrote on Facebook with a photo with Milatović.
On Monday evening, Kovačevski and Milatović attended an informal dinner in Athens on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the "Thessalonica Declaration" of the EU Summit - Western Balkans, where they discussed EU enlargement, the European future of the region, as well as Russian aggression against Ukraine.
