The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, welcomed the newly appointed ambassadors and wished them a successful mission, the president's office announced.
As stated, the president expressed his belief that during his mandate he will make a full contribution to the improvement of interstate relations.
Milatović received the credentials of the newly appointed, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassadors: H.E. Dawn McKen, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, H.E. Andrzej Papeż, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Mahmoud Mostafa Afifi, Ambassador of Egypt on a non-resident basis and H.E. Fayez Mabel Almutairi, Ambassador of Kuwait on a non-resident basis.
"During the talks, good and friendly relations between Montenegro and the countries they represent were noted, which was assessed as a basis for intensifying cooperation on a bilateral level," the announcement states.
At the meeting, the importance and need for joint work on defining specific cooperation programs was pointed out.
"The areas of European integration, security, economy, tourism, trade and culture are recognized as fields with the most potential for concrete ideas that will improve interstate ties and bring citizens and economies of countries closer together, and the strengthening of political dialogue is a necessary incentive in that direction," it says. announcement.
