There will be no need to postpone the census, said Finance Minister Aleksandar Damjanović.

He said this after the president of the census commission, Tuzi Nik Đeljošaj, asked the government to postpone the census for a month, because he believes that everything has not been done according to the law, reports the RTCG portal.

"There will be no need to postpone the census, and everything that was said in the initiative will be written in the document, so I believe that through a partnership relationship we will solve the issues that Mr. Đeljošaj also raised," said Damjanović for TVCG.

The president of the census commission of the municipality of Tuzi, Nik Đeljošaj, said that the government must react urgently, postpone the population census for 30 days and replace the management of the Directorate for Statistics.

Monstat announced that the translation of the Public Announcement in the Albanian language, which was previously planned, was completed, but it was not delivered due to the fact that the Monstat staff is at the first level of Training for State Instructors.
