ZBCG: The census will reveal that Montenegro has a smaller number of citizens living in it than are registered in the electoral roll

The census will reveal that Montenegro has fewer citizens living in the country than are registered in the voter list, announced the coalition for the future of Montenegro (ZBCG).

As they said, this will confirm that there was political "theft and alteration of the electoral will of the citizens of Montenegro", and that it will confirm what that coalition, as well as the former Democratic Front (DF), "said countless times".

"The synchronized action of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), their political satellites, various parapolitical organizations on their payroll, as well as former regime media, which in a trance repeat the mantra about postponing the census, are an indication of the fact that the remnants of that corrupt system want in every way to stop the truth about Montenegro from coming to light. Hiding behind platitudes about "unpreparedness and a chaotic political moment", as well as notorious lies about "a violent change in the demographic picture of Montenegro", they actually want to cover up what is most important that the whole of Montenegro Gora see," they said from ZBCG.

According to them, the information about a smaller number of citizens compared to the number of people registered in the voter list will be enough to "forever shatter the story of the former regime about the stability and functionality of the system while they were running Montenegro."

This data, as they said, will be especially important because the voter list, as claimed by ZBCG, is still under the control of DPS

"Precisely because, after the magnificent victory on August 30, 2020, the then DF, and the current ZBCG coalition, were not allowed to enter the government and deal with that problem in that way," they added.

They also stated that it is an "equally important fact" that the census will establish the assets of all citizens of Montenegro.

"They will finally announce that former mayors and high-ranking officials like Miomir Mugoša and Bran Gvozdenović have hundreds of apartments. It will also be determined whose "nobody's house" is in Gorica. Essentially, for them it is a national issue, actually a financial one," said ZBCG.

For the above reasons, "and not because of some flimsy excuses", ZBCG believes that the former regime does not want the census to take place.

"Now that Monstat is professionalized and everyone has control over the census, 30 years of inaction and manipulation of the citizens of Montenegro will finally be confirmed. Montenegro knows this and there will be no postponement of the census. It's time to finally get a real picture of the state of the country ", they concluded.
