The Coalition for the Future of Montenegro (ZBCG) is ready for a meeting with Mandatory Milojko Spajić and will have no additional demands regarding their eventual participation in the new government.
That's what Simonida Kordić, an official and MP of the ZBCG coalition, told "Vijesta", stressing that in that alliance they stand by their earlier decision to accept Spajić's offer.
Spajić's offer included, among other things, the posts of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Tourism, Sports and Youth, the posts of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly from the parliamentary majority and women's order...
The agreement was not reached earlier because, according to Spajić, ZBCG refused to accept the offer, so it accepted when he offered the same to others.
They asked for a written offer from ZBCG, stating that they could not believe in the seriousness of the mandate, because he offered the same departments to others.
"Vijesti" announced this morning that the Europe Now Movement (PES), headed by Spajić, plans to negotiate with the ZBCG coalition and the Civil Movement (GP) URA on the formation of a government.
"We stand by our position of accepting the offer. We will not in any way use or abuse the newly created situation and further complicate the situation with some additional demands. We are serious people, once we have accepted the offer we stand by it," said Kordić.
She assessed that it is extremely important to form a truly reformist government, which will be able to present the reform of the judiciary and the establishment of the foundations for the establishment of the rule of law.
"With the fact that among the most important priorities is the acceleration of the EU integration process, to which our coalition is very committed, as well as the vast majority of the citizens of Montenegro. For these reasons, we believe that it is extremely important that the process of forming the government is not prolonged and complicated further, in that sense, here is our position that we will stick to what was the original offer of the mandate and that we will not ask for additional portfolios," said Kordić.
He believes that the announcement of the meetings of the representatives with ZBCG and GP URA is very encouraging.
"From the beginning, we were of the opinion that we should seek a majority in the parliamentary majority of August 30, 2020, and as far as we can see from PES, it is indicated that the negotiations will continue within that majority, of course also with ZBCG," Kordić said. .
According to her, it is an encouraging fact that both the mandate holder and colleagues from PES saw the necessity of creating a true democratic pro-European government within the framework of the majority from August 30.
"I hope that there will no longer be a need or any intention, as in the previous period, to go into some kind of detours and blind alleys that obviously lead nowhere. We expect that the government will be formed exactly within the framework that the citizens gave us again," she concluded. .
