The Democratic Front (DF) called on the Montenegrin government not to vote for Kosovo's admission to UNESCO.
"Such a move, apart from demeaning and humiliating Montenegro and its traditions, would deepen the crisis not only in Montenegro but also in the entire region," DF assessed.
The MP of that political alliance, Budimir Aleksić, states that it is clear to them in the DF that "the puppet regime will do everything to deliver the strongest and most insidious blow to Serbia and traditional Montenegro", but in the DF they are "obliged to once again let's warn them not to go against the will of the majority of citizens, and not to rush into a new treason".
"Potential support for the admission of the self-proclaimed state of Kosovo to UNESCO would be a classic act of hostility towards Serbia, but especially towards the Montenegro that we represent, which was created dominantly on the Kosovo epic during the Petrović dynasty," Aleksić's statement states.
DF, as he said, expects the Government of Serbia to act in this case in the same way as in Macedonia, and withdraw its diplomatic staff from Montenegro.
He claims that ever since the "fake coup d'état" affair was planted in the DF, they have registered the strange behavior of the employees of the Embassy of Serbia.
"Recently, we learned from Serbian citizens who were imprisoned in Spuž that some people from the embassy, together with members of the Montenegrin secret police, convinced these people to confess to participating in a fake coup d'état, even though they did not participate in any criminal act in Montenegro, as would justify the monstrous accusations of Đukanović's anti-Serb regime and cause political damage to the DF," said Aleksić.
This, he adds, hit them hard, because because of "such corrupt and treason-prone state officials and members of the security service", in addition to Serbian citizens, political prisoners - Mihailo Čađenović, Dejan Vujisić, Željko Šćepanović and Momir Nikolić - have been in prison for months. , and is leading a court case against the DF leader.
Aleksić believes that the Embassy of Serbia in Skopje is no less threatened than in Podgorica.
"Both in one and the other, Serbian enemies are recruiting and looking for those who will work for their goals, and against the interests of the Serbian people," Aleksić believes.
According to him, the Western international factor these days exerts strong pressure on "the so-called civil opposition in Montenegro to support the membership of the fake state of Kosovo in UNESCO."
"We are aware that they have accepted to meet such requests and that they will not create any problems for the Government of Montenegro in this matter. If these findings of ours are not correct, and if one of them thinks similar to DF, we invite him to speak out in relation to this important issue", said Aleksić.
He emphasized that the DF is clear and open - the fake state of Kosovo should not be a member of UNESCO, and when the conditions are met, the Government of Montenegro will cancel the recognition of the fake state of Kosovo.
