The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, will visit the United Kingdom from October 24 to 26, at the invitation of the British King Charles III.
As announced by the Information Service of the President of Montenegro, Milatović is the first President of Montenegro whom the British Sovereign will receive in Buckingham Palace during a bilateral visit.
"As part of his visit to London, President Milatović will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development, James Cleverley, and the British Prime Minister's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach. He will also meet with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Reno-Basso i Borda director of that institution," the announcement reads.
It is stated that Milatović will hold a lecture at the London School of Economics (LSE) and together with Minister Cleverly will attend the solemn ceremony - the 40th anniversary of the prestigious Chevening scholarship.
"He will also be a guest on one of the world's most famous political talk shows, "Hardtalk" on the BBC, on the topic of events in Montenegro and the Western Balkans region," the announcement concludes.
