Democratic Montenegro (Democrats) will have eight state secretaries in the government, it was told unofficially to "Vijesta" from that party.
Party Alekse Bečić will have three secretaries in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), two each in the departments of defense and culture and media, and one in the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology and Sustainable Development.
At the heads of those departments are officials of that party - Danilo Šaranović (MUP), Dragan Krapović (defense), Tamara Vujović (culture) i Vladimir Martinovic (tourism).
According to the knowledge of "Vijesti", the constituents of the government have agreed in principle how to divide the 42 positions of state secretaries, as many as the Government can appoint, and the final agreement should follow soon, in order to start with the appointments.
It was previously known that the coalition for the future of Montenegro (ZBCG), which for the time being will not participate in the executive power, will receive the positions of state secretaries in the departments of transport, education, tourism and spatial planning and urbanism. ZBCG, with the reconstruction of the government, should enter those ministries by the end of next year, so their representatives will be appointed as state secretaries "in order to make the transition of the department as simple as possible". "Vijesti" announced that the candidate for state secretary in the department of education is an official of ZBCG Dragan Bojović.
According to unconfirmed information from "Vijesti", they are mentioned as potential candidates for state secretaries in the Ministry of Finance Bojana Bošković, Jovana Nišavić i Milica Adžić, and is considered a possible candidate for state secretary in the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare Andjela Bulatović.
Potential candidates for state secretaries in the MUP are, according to unofficial information from TV Vijesti, Jovana Ostojić i Petar Koprivica, in the Ministry of Health Aleksandar Sekulic, Mirjana Vlahović Andrijašević i Milena Cojic, and in the Ministry of Justice Aleksandar Bakrac i Happy Jakic. Vlada Milojko Spajić on Tuesday, a few hours after she was elected, she passed the Decision on determining the ministries that can have state secretaries, which provides that all 19 departments will receive such officials. Four ministries will have one state secretary each, seven ministries each, and three ministries each, with a maximum of eight.
Three each will be able to be appointed to the ministries of finance, interior affairs, education, health, labor and social care, spatial planning, agriculture, and energy, and two each to the departments of justice, defense, public administration, economic development, culture, transport and tourism. , and one secretary each in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Human and Minority Rights, European Affairs and Sports.
State secretaries are appointed to positions according to the political or party key - they are appointed and dismissed by the Government, on the proposal of the minister, without public competition. Their duty ends when the minister's mandate ends.
According to the Law on State Administration, the State Secretary assists the Minister in the performance of his duties. When the ministry has three state secretaries, the minister authorizes one of them to replace him in case he is prevented from performing his duties.
The government announced to "Vijesti" the day before yesterday that Spajić will insist on the selection of professionals who have experience and credibility to perform the entrusted functions.
