Vasilije Ivanović (Movement Evropa Sad) and Miodrag Bulatović (Socialist People's Party) will continue to be vice presidents of the Municipality of Kolašin.
The councilors of the ruling majority today gave their consent to the proposal of the President of the Municipality Petko Bakić, so Ivanović and Bulatović, who were also vice-presidents during the mandate of Vladmir Martinović (Democratic Montenegro), will continue to perform these functions.
As Bakić said, due to the imminent adoption of the budget for the next year, the ongoing works and the commitments previously undertaken by the vice-presidents, it was necessary to appoint Ivanović and Bulatović as soon as possible.
"Martinović's resignation is a technical matter because everything remains the same, the work started continues. I believe that the vice-presidents should also remain the same," Bakić said.
The committee clubs of Ivanović's and Bulatović's parties praised the way in which they performed this function in the last ten months.
Their party colleagues claim that both vice-presidents worked particularly well when it came to solving infrastructure problems in the Sesok area, and that they significantly contributed to the organization of events.
Councilors of the opposition Movement together we build Kolašin (Democratic Party of Socialists, Social Democratic Party, Social Democrats and non-party figures) criticized the President of the Municipal Assembly (SO) for, as they claim, "making senseless the institute of convening sessions by emergency procedure".
They reminded that 10 sessions of the Council of Ministers were held in this convocation, and that even seven were convened by emergency procedure.
The opposition again had objections to the content of the act proposing the appointment of the vice president.
Councilor Marta Šćepanović asked Bakić if he has the consent of the municipal committees of the parties from which Ivanović and Bulatović come with their appointment.
She reminded that the opposition councilors had previously given their consent for the appointment of the vice president.
Šćepanović advised Ivanović and Bulatović to make an effort to "have their own attitude" in performing their duties.
The members of the Movement were restrained when giving consent for the appointment of the vice-president, explaining that the reason for this was the way in which the session was convened.
Gospava Vujisić from the opposition Group of Voters, recalled the "agreement with the collegium of the Assembly that the sessions be broadcasted directly", but there was no possibility for this for this session either.
She asked Bakić a series of questions related to unfinished infrastructure projects and communal problems of the city.
The councilors also approved the appointment of Branislav Jeknić as the director of the Cultural Center.
