I am very proud of the Report of the European Commission (EC) for Montenegro, in the part related to the department of the Ministry of Capital Investments (MKI), which represents the best satisfaction after 18 months of managing that very complex department, said the President of the Bosniak Party (BS) Ervin Ibrahimović.
He said that, according to the assessment from the Report, which I consider realistic, in chapter 14 - Traffic Policy - exceptional progress was made in the two previous years.
"Well, the rating of two, which we found, was improved in the first year to three and now to four. It is the only chapter in which such progress was recorded," said Ibrahimović.
Progress was also recorded in the energy sector, as he said, which would have been even more significant if the Law on Strategic Oil Reserves had been adopted, which was prepared, and for which the Report recommended adoption in the next reporting period, as well as the Law on Railways which is prepared.
"All this is the result of the team with which I had the pleasure and honor to work in the past period and to whom I thank in my own name and on behalf of the European perspective of Montenegro. Part of the team remained in two ministries created from the Ministry of Interior and I believe that the new management will recognize the capacities of those people", stated in the statement of the Bosniak Party.
For faster progress, instead of daily political populism, Montenegro needs, said Ibrahimović, the dedicated work of competent people such as there are in the state administration and who must not be victims of political turbulence, experiments or revanchism.
"They, not politicians, are the bearers of European integration," he added.
