At the end of his stay in Budapest, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Andrija Mandić, also visited Sentandreja, where he met with the Bishop of Buda of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) Lukijan.
On Mandić's account on the social network X, the former Twitter, it was announced that Lukijan expressed special gratitude to Mandić, "stating that he is the first high-ranking state official of Montenegro who visited Sentandreja, a city of special importance for the entire Serbian people because it is right there, until 8.000 Serbian families built their homes in the then deserted place, after the first great migration of Serbs under the leadership of Patriarch Arsenij III Čarnojević.
"Vladika added that he would like all citizens of Montenegro, of the Orthodox faith, to visit this place when visiting Budapest, because their ancestors also considered this area their home," the announcement states.
