One of the first measures that could be heard from the Spajić Government was the increase in the price of electricity, first announced by the Minister of Energy and Mining Saša Mujović, and yesterday clearly confirmed by the Director of the Energy Regulatory Agency Igor Telebak, announced the Civic Movement (GP) URA.
They pointed out that "the results of the Spajić Government so far point to a tragicomic situation".
GP URA said that "everything that Spajić announced, such as the bankruptcy of Montenegro, is not happening, and everything that he did not announce, such as the increase in the price of electricity, is happening".
"Now there is no doubt, thanks to Spajić and his Government, citizens will pay more expensive electricity from January 2024, XNUMX, and we are sure that this increase will also imply an increase in the prices of all other products and services," they add.
They said that "it is truly devastating that one of the first measures of the new government is an attack on the budget of citizens by increasing the price of electricity, and this is definitely something that caused citizens not to trust Spajić in the elections, because such announcements could not be heard from him in campaign".
"Also, we could not hear from Spajić during the campaign that he would sell the shares of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, nor that he would borrow the state for one billion euros. The first of his hidden intentions, which we pointed out, Spajić is already achieving, it remains to be seen what will happen with the other two ", the announcement concludes.
