Montenegro is a partner and friend of Kosovo, and will continue to support its Euro-Atlantic path, said Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy Nik Đeljošaj.
He met today with the ambassador of Kosovo in Montenegro, Arijana Žerka Hodža.
Đeljošaj, as announced by his cabinet, informed Žerka Hodža about the priorities of the 44th Government and said that Montenegro remains committed to the Euro-Atlantic path and values.
"Montenegro is a partner and friend of Kosovo. We will continue to support the improvement of economic cooperation, as well as our common Euro-Atlantic path," said Đeljošaj.
Žerka Hodža congratulated Đeljošaj on his appointment and wished him success in the realization of the planned projects.
As it was announced, during the meeting they discussed the possibilities of improving the cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially in the economy, tourism and infrastructure.
At the meeting, it is added, there was talk of the possibility of exchanging experiences in European integration, as well as the implementation of projects for stronger economic development.
"The interlocutors emphasized the excellent relations between Montenegro and Kosovo and agreed on the continuation of cooperation in areas of common interest," the statement said.
