In a few months after the New Year, the reconstruction of the Government of Montenegro should take place, the ministries that should be given to the coalition For the Future of Montenegro (ZBCG) have been determined very precisely, announced Andrija Mandić, President of the Parliament of Montenegro and leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD). .
Speaking about the reconstruction of the Government, he recalled the signed agreement and said that there is a firm agreement.
"In a few months after the New Year, the reconstruction of the Government should take place, the ministerial posts that should be given to ZBCG have been determined very precisely. I expect that when our ministers take office, they will continue to do this work that we have been doing for years, but not as an opposition but as government, to ensure complete stability in Montenegro and then to build relations with Serbia that both Montenegro and Serbia deserve," Mandic said in an interview with Tanjug, saying that the goal is economic networking with Serbia.
DNP MP Milun Zogović told Dan that it is possible that the reconstruction of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić's cabinet will take place immediately after the New Year holidays or in the first half of next year.
The text of the final agreement on the formation of the new government, published by Vijesti on October 19, foresees the reconstruction of the government.
In that agreement, it is stated that in accordance with the consistent and complete observance of all the provisions of this Agreement, the Prime Minister undertakes to propose, and the signatories of the Agreement to support the reconstruction of the 44th Government of Montenegro no later than the voting of the budget for 2025.
The reconstruction of the Government implies that the political entities New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and Democratic People's Party (DNP) (which are part of ZBCG) propose candidates for the following members of the Government:
Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure
Minister of Transport,
Minister of Education,
Minister of Tourism and
Minister of Spatial Planning and Urbanism.
"In order to make the transition of the portfolios that should belong to the NSD and DNP political entities as simple as possible after the reconstruction of the government, and in accordance with Chapter VI of the Agreement, the aforementioned entities will propose state secretaries in the ministries that will be divided after the reconstruction and where the entities in question will take responsibility for their management :
- one state secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, in charge of transport
- one state secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, in charge of education
- one state secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, in charge of tourism
- one state secretary in the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property, in charge of spatial planning and urbanism," the agreement reads.
