Salaries will be paid for the first 300 enumerators in Podgorica, while for the rest it will be done after receiving complete documentation.

This was announced to "Vijesti" yesterday from the Capital City, answering the question why the enumerators who worked in Podgorica have not yet been compensated for the work done, and when it will be done.

They state that the reason is that the documentation has not yet been completed. They remind that so far agreements have been signed with about 300 enumerators out of over 600 of them who in the first part underwent training or participated in the process in any way.

"For these first 300, wages will be paid, while for the rest it will be done after receiving complete documentation. Please note that this is the earnings for the first cycle of activity from the beginning of the census, while we have not yet received data from Monstat for the second part. The final payment of enumerators will also be made when Monstat collects the total effects of them", they said from the Capital City.

The population census in Montenegro was held in December last year, after two years of delay and two postponements.

Fees for participants in the census are defined by the decision on the amount and allocation of funds to census commissions for financing the census of population, households and apartments in 2023, which was adopted by the Government in mid-November.

The decision stipulates that 6.560.755 euros will be allocated for compensation.

Enumerators receive a fee for filling out census questionnaires in the amount of two euros for a correctly completed person questionnaire (P-1), 2,5 euros for an apartment and household questionnaire containing data on the apartment and persons (P-2) and 0,8 euros for the apartment and household questionnaire that only contains data on the apartment (P-2).

The enumerator receives a fee for enumeration of 75 euros if the area in which he enumerates is remote or inaccessible, and if up to 50 people live in that area.

The president, member of the enumeration commission and the enumerator are entitled to a daily training allowance of 18 euros per day, as well as 15 euros of compensation for mobile phone costs.
