Živković: The Bosniak party took power in Gusinje, but DPS will not discourage it

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) will remain loyal to its ideas, values ​​and vision of a European Montenegro, said the candidate for DPS president Danijel Živković and added that this will not affect whether they are acting from the government or the opposition.

At the party forum in Gusinje, as part of the campaign for party elections, he told the gathered DPS members that they are the ones who restore faith and enthusiasm to everyone in the party.

"That's why these internal party elections are an opportunity to send everyone the right message of the strength and uniqueness of our party," said Živković.

As reported by the DPS, Živković said that he would fight for the interests of the DPS from any place because he is proud to be a member of that party.

"I am even more proud that I can share the political destiny in Montenegro with you. Everyone who stayed with us showed that no one can exert any influence on them and they are the most deserving that DPS exists and that we will be the strongest political entity in the next elections," he said.

Živković said that the Bosniak Party has taken over the government in Gusinje, but that the DPS will not discourage it.

According to him, commitment to the ideas of prosperity and progress on the way to the European family must be stronger than any pursuit of personal gain or short-term benefits.

"In the local elections that are coming up, we need to achieve serious results! We all have to believe together that Gusinje can be the spark from which we will start a wave of our election victories throughout Montenegro", said Živković.

He said that, on the basis of everything good that DPS has built, he will work on reorganizing the party, awakening new energy and affirming professional, dedicated and responsible, above all young people.

Živković pointed out that he believes that such a DPS can bring a new impulse and return Montenegro to the track of modern Europe, the first future member of the EU.

"We want to bring Europe to us, so that we don't have to keep going from here to there," Živković concluded.
