The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) has no right to make any more mistakes in the coming period, said the candidate for DPS president Danijel Živković at the party forum in Mojkovac.
"We will have a chance and we have to use that chance," Živković pointed out.
He recalled that during the opposition activity since 2020, the DPS MPs succeeded in removing two governments and organized extraordinary parliamentary elections.
"During the 30 years of their existence, they could hardly shake any government in which the DPS was present. However, we are much more stable, much better and more responsible people than they are," Živković pointed out.
He said that they have to dismiss the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić, just as they dismissed Danijela Đurović and Aleksa Bečić.
"We also need to remove Milojko Spajić from that position, just as we removed Dritan Abazović and Zdravko Krivokapić. Even if we specialize in something, it is to topple governments and replace the presidents of the Assembly," said Živković.
Speaking about the necessary reforms in the party, Živković said that it is not enough to say that they saw mistakes, but the question is whether these mistakes will happen when, as he said, they return to the position of power.
He said that it happened many times that they were wronged by members who remained faithful to the end, regardless of the fact that our policy did not show sensitivity to their problems.
According to Živković, the responsibility of the elected party leadership is to return DPS from the opposition to power.
"We don't need the government to make mistakes, but to move Montenegro forward. We need development", concluded Živković.
