Regional stability and cooperation is important for the continuation of European integration, and mutual support is key on that path, it was assessed during the meeting between Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Borjana Krišto.
The Government announced that Spajić, during a meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, informed Kristo of the Government's activities in terms of internal reforms.
He said that, in addition to integration into the European Union (EU), strengthening regional cooperation is one of the priorities of foreign policy.
"Montenegro has good relations with its neighbors and we want to cooperate more strongly in the near future as members of the European family of nations," said Spajić.
Kristo said that she is convinced that her recent visit to Montenegro will give additional impetus to bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within regional initiatives.
The interlocutors, as announced, agree that Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina have good bilateral relations.
Spajić and Krišto assessed that in the coming period it is necessary to work on connecting and improving the traffic infrastructure in order to create conditions for a more dynamic economic exchange.
