The President of the Bosniak Party (BS), Ervin Ibrahimović, emphasized the importance of good cooperation between the BS and the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), with the message that he is pleased with the good bilateral relations between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bosniak Party announced.
They clarified that Ibrahimović together with his associates, as part of a working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, met in Sarajevo with SDA President Bakir Izetbegović.
"At the meeting, which was also attended by the Vice-President of the Bosniak Party Damir Gutić, MP Kenana Strujić-Harbić and Chief of Cabinet of the President of the Bosniak Party Izet Ćorović, it was discussed about further strengthening of ties and intensification of cooperation between representatives of the Bosniak people from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro". it is written in the announcement.
BS emphasized that the creation of a strategy was initiated as a joint response and approach to the challenges that, as they stated, the Bosniak people are facing in the region.
"At the meeting, the importance of a stronger connection between the organizations of the Party of Democratic Action and the Bosniak Party, which brings together young people and women through the realization of joint projects, was emphasized," it added.
Ibrahimović and Izetbegović agreed that the future of the region is in the EU and that it is important that, as they stated, all Bosniak parties in the states of the region have this goal high in their priorities.
They added that in addition to Izetbegović, Vice President Haris Zahiragić and SDA Main Board President Safet Softić also attended the meeting.
BS explained that Ibrahimović had a series of meetings with individuals from, as they stated, the political, academic, cultural and business life of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, originally from Montenegro.
