Milan Knežević's Democratic People's Party (DNP) will support Milorad Marković for Supreme State Prosecutor (VDT), "Vijesti" has learned unofficially.
This was decided at the session of the caucus of that party, which is ongoing.
DNP has four representatives in parliament.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", Knežević will explain why the DNP will vote for Marković at the parliamentary session where the VDT will be elected, which should start at 14 pm.
The party previously announced that their decision to support Marković would depend on his position in the case of a "coup d'état".
In addition to Marković, the candidates for the position of VDT are the former acting (acting) head of the prosecution Maja Jovanović and the judge of the High Court in Podgorica Suzana Mugoša.
