The Vice President of the Assembly Zdenka Popović said that she believes that the work of the newly elected Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković will contribute to building a fairer and more transparent society.
"I send Mr. Marković sincere congratulations on his election as the Supreme State Prosecutor. This important state function, which he will perform with dedication to justice, represents a key link in strengthening the system of fighting crime and corruption in our society. Mr. Marković, with his many years of expertise and unwavering integrity , he has already shown his commitment to the system of fighting against organized crime and corruption," said Popović.
She said that she expects that "his vision and leadership" will further improve the efficiency of the prosecutor's office in combating crime and corruption.
"I wish him much success in performing this responsible duty, with faith in his ability to respond to challenges and achieve positive changes in the system of our country. I believe that his work will contribute to building a fairer and more transparent society. This is just one of many steps towards unblocking of our European path", concluded the vice-president of the Assembly.
