The Vice-President of the Democratic People's Party (DNP), Member of the Parliament of Montenegro, and Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in her second term, Maja Vukićević, at the invitation of members of the American Congress, will attend the Prayer Breakfast, which is traditionally held every year in Washington, and this time will be held on January 31 and February 1 on Capitol Hill, the DNP announced today.
"At the Prayer Breakfast, the current President of the USA, Joseph Biden, will give a ceremonial speech, and one surprise guest, who will be announced at this high-level international gathering. Maja Vukićević's departure to Washington for the Prayer Breakfast, which will be attended by leaders, politicians and other prominent figures from more than one hundred and forty countries of the world, certainly represents a significant example of respect for the ZBCG (For the Future of Montenegro) coalition and the Montenegrin Parliament in terms of Euro-Atlantic integration and the further affirmation of Montenegro in the international framework," the DNP press release points out.
The party added that on the sidelines of the meeting, Vukićević will have talks with numerous distinguished figures from the political sphere, as well as with representatives of our diaspora in the USA, who will get to know more about the new, current political events in Montenegro.
