The leader of the Budva Democrats, Krsto Radović, accused the local government of regularly signing millions of contracts with Bemax and privileged investors, while there is no money for the National Kitchen and socially vulnerable citizens.
Radović reacted after the National Kitchen was closed, because the Municipality avoided paying 2.200 euros for half a year.

"All the heroes humiliated no one and looked at the black earth. After the megalomaniac projects, the promises about the investment cycle of over 80 million euros, the hospital, the promenade, the cultural center and all other projects that are the urgent need of our city, the current government is not even able to service the obligations according to the soup kitchen, whose users are citizens in social need. At the same time, millions of contracts are regularly signed, the biggest jobs are awarded to companies like Bemax, utility equipment contracts are awarded to privileged investors, various eligible subcontractors are introduced and all that we have seen for the past three decades and what we fought against. Those who need the care of society and local self-government the most will remain without meals, which we will definitely not allow!", said Radović.
As he points out, "we have witnessed countless times the fact that the presidents of the municipality are very wealthy people".
"The salary was diverted to humanitarian purposes, and the citizens, intoxicated by the story of abundance, were left with empty plates. Today, the Municipality has more than enough money, but it is not spent adequately because the local administrative apparatus is blocked, and this backlog in the settlement of obligations in in the amount of 2200 eur is just an obvious reflection of carelessness and arrogance in the enthusiasm of absolute power, very questionable today, towards those they addressed the most in the election campaign. Citizens must not suffer," concluded Radović.
