Day by day, due to incorrect and illegal planning, Budva is becoming a city of concrete, narrow boulevards, with less and less green areas and playgrounds and a lack of parking spaces. There are still a few rare locations where, due to a combination of lucky circumstances, mostly because of unresolved property-legal relations, ruins or neglected buildings that have not been built have remained, announced the Budva Committee of the Citizens' Movement URA.
As they pointed out, one such location is certainly the building of the former Yugoslav river shipping in the heart and epicenter of Budva, for which this area is of great importance.
"The use, according to our availability, of the LN of the building itself is the company DOO Vektra Montenegro of the Podgorica businessman (Dragan) Brković, who in a very suspicious way registered the buildings to his company, and we want to inform the public as well as the competent institutions about this. The property, as it says in the real estate list , is of the state of Montenegro. His company went into bankruptcy and this very plot of land with the object was put on a public call for tenders where all bidders, ending on February 20, have the opportunity to submit bids and buy this, for Budva and all its citizens, priceless immovable property", according to URE.
They note that this must be prevented and that a model must be found to return this country to its citizens.
The Budva URE called on the Government and the Ministry of Finance to urgently get involved and stop the potential possibility that the building will change owners, without it being the state of Montenegro.
"We invite the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office (VDT) as well as the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) to check the chronology of the registration of this immovable property in the cadastre," concludes the Budva URE.
