Franeta: Budva was freed from the criminal jaws of DPS when the Democrats ruled, citizens to burn greed

On Sunday, the people of Budva burned the carnival. They burned greed with an indictment that clearly pointed to the people who previously "burned" many chances for a faster and more comprehensive development of the city with their combinations and machinations.

This announcement was made by the vice president of the Municipal Board (OO) of Democratic Montenegro Budva Željko Franeta.

"One of them to a very serious extent and for a longer period of time. Both repentantly courting the city and citizens cloaked in nationalism and apparent devotion to religion. But anyway, dear citizens, it turned out that Budva was freed from the criminal jaws of the DPS only in the period when Budva was governed by Democrats, i.e. when the president of the municipality was our fellow citizen Dragan Krapović, in the period 2017-2019. At that time, these two experts and economic and cultural wizards could not fit the budget of Budva, neither they nor their partners were allocated jobs, from construction to those in the cultural sphere, although they were often intertwined," Franeta said.

He added that not a few times they pointed to the continuous influence of DPS's octopus arms, which equally win jobs, tenders, and influence decision-makers, before and now.

"I guess there's a time for that, so the day has come for the citizens themselves, if the political majority can't do it already, publicly, on Brijeg od Budva, to burn greed and those who personify it by burning the carnival. What the citizens publicly condemn and want that they rejected with indignation, no one has the right to dispute. We are of the opinion that the time has come to return the mandates to those same citizens, so let them judge again," concluded Franeta.
