At today's session, the Government passed the Decision on establishing the National Control List of weapons and military equipment.
"The reasons for the adoption of the National Control List are contained in the need to harmonize it with the Joint Military List of the EU adopted by the Council on February 20, 2023. The decision represents a codified solution, which includes a clearly defined division of goods into 22 categories, divided into areas of use of goods that are marked with the internationally known mark ML (Military List). Therefore, by implementing this act, Montenegro controls the export, import, transit, brokering and technical assistance of weapons and military equipment, thereby contributing to international peace and security, as well as preventing the spread of weapons of mass destruction ", announced the Government.
