Representatives of the socio-political and academic community from the countries of the region gathered in Podgorica on the topic "The role and importance of Bosniaks in the countries of the region with a focus on Montenegro, Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina".
"The importance of regional association of representatives of the Bosniak people in the fields of culture, science, economy and infrastructure is for the benefit of the countries in which we live and work. In this way, Bosniaks become a bridge that unites and strengthens the integration path of our countries towards the European Union", it was said from the working meeting .
The organizer of the event was Sead Šahman.
The meeting was attended by Emilija Redžepi, Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo with associates, Šaćir Filandra, university professor from the Faculty of Political Sciences from Sarajevo, Admir Lisica, historian and doctoral student from Sarajevo.
The work meeting from Montenegro was attended by Vahidin Dino Ćatić - businessman, Esad Zaimović - president of the Management Board of Hipotekarna banka, representatives of the Bosniak Council in Montenegro Suljo Mustafić, Mirsad Rastoder and Bejto Šahmanović, presidents of the municipalities of Petnjica and Gusinje Samir Agović and Sanel Balić, former ministers and MPs from the Bosniak nation Osman Nurković, Kemal Purišić and Nedžad Drešević.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps in Montenegro also contributed with their presence and participation: Rabija Alhantouli, ambassador of Palestine and dean of the diplomatic corps, Bariš Kalkavan, ambassador of Turkey, and Zećir Ramčilović, ambassador of North Macedonia.
It was concluded that the mutual strengthening of our relations and connections has no alternative, and that it is necessary to create the necessary prerequisites for a better quality of life for our compatriots, as well as for the overall progress of society, through partnership with other peoples in the region.
