Member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Jevto Eraković announced that on the eve of the formation of the current Government of Montenegro, they received the opportunity from the Civic Movement URA to form a government with that party and the former Democratic Front (DF).
"Be sure that DPS would never agree to enter such a government. Before the formation of this government before it was voted, specifically from the political group URA we got the opportunity to form a government together with the former Democratic Front and GP URA, and thus in that moment, we will get out of the political impasse", said Eraković in the show "Argumenti" on the Television of Montenegro (TVCG), reports Portal RTCG.
He said that it never occurred to them to trample on moral and political principles.
The participant of the show Slaven Radunović from the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), which was part of the former DF, asked him if it was a slip, and if he said that the leader of the Citizens' Movement URA and former Prime Minister Dritan Abazović offered him a coalition with them.
Erakovic replied that he openly stated what was offered to them.
"We are in a difficult moment, not only economically but also politically. Our focus must be economic stability. It must be known what the government rests on, it must rest on the principles of anti-fascism. Montenegro should belong to those countries and views where genocide is fully recognized in these areas," he said.
