Part of the Democratic Front, led by the President of the Municipal Assembly NIkola Jovanović, is ready for a political dialogue with the opposition, because it does not have a parliamentary majority.
Thanks to the councilors of the coalition gathered around the DPS, and two councilors from the SDP, today's continuation of the session of the local parliament was ensured.
Addressing the president of the SO Nikola Jovanović, SDP councilor Petar Odžić said that it is high time "to come to your senses and get serious".
"Every attempt to defend this way of running the city falls flat. No one mentioned the President of the Municipality, Milo Božović, so as not to disturb the process. But if you say that this does not slide into anarchy, it is irresponsible. You do not have any secretaries that are not in acting status. You don't even have half of the executive branch present here. We will easily dissolve the current Council of a public institution, but do not expect that you will appoint such a new Council with our votes. You have to open a political and parliamentary dialogue on how to solve the crisis," said Odžić and reminded Jovanović that he cannot tell DPS to shorten his mandate.
He stressed that the mandate should be shortened, and that everyone should agree on how to manage the city until the election.
"You have to make this city work. Let's not get into politics. The fact that you have 20 million in your account is proof that the city is not functioning," he said.
Jovanović said that they are always ready for dialogue, because apparently the parliamentary majority does not work.
Jovanović subsequently, after Vijesti published his discussion with the SDP/a councilor, said that he would never have a political dialogue with the DPS.
