The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced that he and the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, discussed the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers in Montenegro.
Zelenski and Milatović spoke in Tirana, where they participated in the Ukraine - Southeastern Europe Summit.
"I had a meeting with President Jakov Milatović and thanked Montenegro for welcoming Ukrainians who fled the war. We also discussed the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers in Montenegro. I am grateful to Montenegro for joining the G7 Declaration from Vilnius and the Ukrainian peace formula. President Milatović himself about the first Global Peace Summit in Switzerland as part of our efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace. We also coordinated the continuation of international cooperation between Ukraine and Montenegro," Zelenski wrote in a post on the social network Iks.
