Bosniaks and the whole of Montenegro are deeply affected by the suffering of innocents in Gaza, said the President of the Bosniak Party (BS), Ervin Ibrahimović, and said that it is necessary to dedicate ourselves to finding a peaceful and sustainable solution.
BS announced that Ibrahimović participated in several panel discussions organized within the third Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
After the "Gaza Contact Group" panel, in which he participated, he spoke with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki about the situation in Gaza and Palestine.
Al-Maliki, as they said from BS, informed Ibrahimović about the situation in Gaza.
"Ibrahimović conveyed to Al-Maliki that Bosniaks, as well as the whole of Montenegro, are deeply affected by the suffering of innocents in Gaza, and pointed out that the aggression must stop as soon as possible, and focus on finding a peaceful and sustainable solution," the statement said.
BS said that Ibrahimović, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, met with the Special Representative of the European Union (EU) for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and other issues in the region, Miroslav Lajčak.
"In an open and friendly conversation, he exchanged opinions and attitudes with Lajčak on the political situation and key challenges in the region, the European path of Montenegro and the role of the BS in the political processes in the country," the statement said.
As stated, Ibrahimović had a very constructive and substantive conversation about relations in the region, the role and position of Bosniaks, the European perspective of the countries of the region, as well as the relations and cooperation between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and models for improving that cooperation, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH affairs by Elmedin Konaković.
According to BS, Ibrahimović also met with the Director General for the Balkans and Central Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Ilhan Sajgili.
"He discussed with him the relations in the Balkans, the challenges of the Balkan states in their mutual relations, the EU accession process, as well as the political situation in Montenegro, the role of Bosniaks and Bosnia and the position of the Bosniak people," the statement said.
BS said that, in the continuation of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, Ibrahimović will have a series of very important meetings.
