The European Union is the only true Montenegrin perspective, it was concluded at the meeting of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and representatives of the parties of less numerous nations.
The Cabinet of the Prime Minister announced that the current political situation was discussed at the meeting.
Spajić, as stated, informed the interlocutors about the next steps that will lead us to the fulfillment of "the most important goal at this moment", which is to obtain the Report on the Fulfillment of Temporary Benchmarks (IBAR) in the first half of the year.
"During the conversation, it was emphasized that the parties of the minority nations will provide unreserved support on this path, because for them the European Union is the only true Montenegrin perspective," the announcement states.
Spajić met with Ervin Ibrahimović, Damir Gutić (Bosniak Party), Genci Nimanbeg (Forca), Adrijan Vuksanović (Croatian Civic Initiative), Mehmed Zenko (Democratic Union of Albanians), and the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nik Đeljošaj (Albanian Alternative) and Minister Fatmir Đeka (Democratic Party).
"Excellent results were noted in terms of EU integration, and the contribution of the parties of less numerous nations was highlighted, especially in the part of voting for appointments in the judiciary," the statement added.
It was also emphasized that "strong messages" from the largest European centers are a clear indication that the doors of the European family are wide open, according to Spajić's cabinet.
Spajić, it was added, informed the interlocutors about the interest of international partners in helping with the reforms necessary to improve the system.
"It was also concluded that it is very important to continue the constant communication that the Prime Minister has with the representatives of less numerous peoples," the announcement states.
