The President of the Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security Miodrag Laković (PES) said that the parliamentary majority agreed to make a decision on the questioning of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Minister of Interior Danilo Saranović, at the request of the opposition.

"We believe that already at the beginning of next week, we should schedule a session where we will shape that decision. We agree a priori that a decision on the hearing should be made, but we have to shape it in such a way as to define the topics that will be covered, which representatives of the state authorities will be invited and in which format we will work on, whether we will use secret data, whether the session will be open or closed," said Laković at the Board sessions after a short break and consultations by the majority members.

The MP of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikola Janović announced at the beginning of the session that the members of the Committee from the opposition submitted today the initiative on the control hearing of the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior regarding the election of the Acting Director of the Police Administration.

Janović said that the reason for the hearing was the events at the Government session, from which they were informed about mutual accusations of committing bloody crimes and breaking the law.

"We want to get answers to who broke the law and what happened there," said Janović.

He said that behind the initiative are members of the Board from DPS, SD and GP URA.

Jevto Eraković (DPS) believes that at today's session, a decision on joint hearings can be made, and that the next session can be scheduled where the details will be agreed upon.

Laković repeated that the decision must be made at a new session, in order to agree on the way of working.

He suggested that the session be on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Eraković said that, if the next session will be at the beginning of next week and a quick hearing deadline is defined, the DPS has no objections to that dynamic.

Independent member of parliament Jevrosima Pejović said that she was worried that the other members of the committee did not want the prime minister to be heard "yesterday" because of everything that happened at the government session when the acting director of the police was elected.

Nikola Janović said that the Prime Minister should have been the first to resign because of everything that happened at the Government session a few days ago.

"The participants at that event spoke about it best," he said.
