The Municipal Committee of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Budva announced today that it is confusing that the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) Mandić "through his Government is trying to eliminate the burden" of the arrested President of the Municipality of Budva, Milo Božović, through the introduction of "forced administration". , while as they added, part of the councilors who did not cancel their obedience to him are now asking for the assembly to be held, which they themselves interrupted several times.
They spoke on the occasion of yesterday's announcement of the temporary board of NSD Budva, in which the president of the Municipal Assembly (SO) Nikola Jovanović is called to schedule a session of the Budva SO under an urgent procedure, at which the decisions necessary to overcome the government crisis would be made. The NSD of Budva invited all constituents of the "Milo Božović - Budva first" election list to support the proposal that Jasna Dokić be the vice-president of the Municipality of Budva.
The Budva SDP said that yesterday's unsigned announcement by the NSD Budva crisis committee is confusing the citizens even more.
"Namely, the councilors who repeatedly boycotted and interrupted the assembly where at least one vice president was supposed to be elected, in order for the local administration in Budva to function, are now calling for the urgent convening of the repeatedly interrupted emergency session of the Budva Municipal Council. It is also confusing that Mandić through his government, he is trying to eliminate the burden of the arrested president, through the introduction of 'forced administration', while the part of the councilors who did not cancel their obedience to him are now asking for the assembly to be held, which they themselves have interrupted several times," SDP Budva said in a statement.
They said that the tourist season has started, and that "the Democratic Front (DF) is still in a circus show, from which, by all accounts, they are not allowed to participate in the elections."
"Electoral will, the 'crisis committee' no longer exists, you are aware that those closest to you will no longer vote after the embarrassment you caused to Budva. Go to the polls, do not continue to hide behind unsigned announcements, fake Facebook profiles and platitudes that are no longer even ridiculous. You can talk about electoral will only when you measure yourself again, after the circus you leave behind, if you manage to go to the elections at all," concludes the announcement of SDP Budva.
The news announced yesterday that Budva is facing the introduction of forced administration for the second time in the last two years, given that it is practically impossible for the Municipal Assembly to adopt a strategic plan for the development of the city within ten days - the deadline received from the Government.
Odžić: I voted against Jovanović, for you Jovanović was the creator of the campaign
Petar Odžić, SDP councilor in Budva Municipal Council, reacted to the announcement of NSD Budva.
"Unsigned announcements by people who are not fit for the positions they were appointed to, brokers in municipal institutions of culture and tourism, recent interns in the Municipality who just waited for Jovanović with a candle in front of the office, officials for whom all the ferries have sailed, maybe they are not at the political level for this type of discussion." , Odžić pointed out in the announcement.
He also revealed that he voted against Jovanović.
"But let's mention them: I voted against Jovanović - for you, Jovanović was the creator of the campaign, I voted against Jovanović - for you, Jovanović was the chief of the main staff, I voted against Jovanović - for you, Jovanović was second on the list, for you Jovanović was the main candidate for the most important positions, you elected Jovanović as the President of the Assembly and I was against it, in the end you all did internships with him in the office. Budva's "cultural magician" took over half of the executive power, so now you can't share the spoils, neither the SDP nor Petar Odžić are to blame. With my work and results, which are unattainable for you, I have shown that I am no one's spokesperson, least of all any wing of the retrograde DF. What you did in one year from Budva will not be quickly forgotten, and the fact that you would vote for any candidate now, if only you did not go to the elections, will not pass you by. After the local elections, everything will be much clearer to you, where you are, who you are, and how much the citizens respect you," said Odžić.
