The President of the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, did not invite the president of the club of councilors of the "Budva first - Milo Božović" coalition, Nikola Kralj, to today's collegium. A month ago, Kralj was elected as the new head of the committee club, after Marijana Božović was dismissed.

Božović attended the collegium today. Jovanović said at the last parliamentary session that he does not recognize the decisions of the so-called NSD temporary committee.

The executive committee of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) in accordance with the party's statute appointed a temporary municipal committee in Budva and it only represents the official positions of our party, NSD spokesman Mirko Miličić announced.

"It is not unknown to the public of Montenegro that the DF ceased to exist as a political alliance and that the subjects of the DF separated by agreement with the high respect of the political parties that formed it, without a single ugly word or disagreement, looking for new forms of political action. Our people has a saying that 'when the water is cloudy, the smartest thing is to return to the source', as is happening now in Budva. It was precisely guided by that idea that the New Serbian Democracy in Budva returned to itself, with the appointment of a temporary municipal board," said Miličić.

He called on all political actors in Budva to have a principled attitude and respect the Statute of the NSD, exactly as they do when it comes to all other subjects both at the local and state level.

"Agreement and compromise remain the key goals that our party strives for in Budva, but also in the whole of Montenegro. We invite all our colleagues who belong to other parties or today are outside the parties that once made up the DF to respect the position and organization of our party, remaining in the common fight for the preservation of the government in Budva, which was formed on the basis of the expressed will of the people in the last local elections in that city," the announcement reads.

"The NSD in Budva is asking for only one thing, and that is to elect Jasna Dokić as the vice-president of the municipality in accordance with the agreement reached together with the president of the NSD, Mr. Andrija Mandić, and in this way ensure the quality functioning of that extremely important city," Miličić concluded.
