Maja Vukićević and Milun Zogović were elected vice-presidents of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) at today's first session of the Main Board of that party.
They were elected on the proposal of DNP president Milan Knežević.
The DNP announced that the session began with a minute of silence due to the "terrorist attack in Moscow in which innocent civilians, including children, were killed."
"The GO noted that the parliamentary group DNP has contributed to the affirmation and stability of the parliamentary majority through its activities so far in the Assembly, with the expectation that the current crisis in the Government will be overcome and that the agreed reconstruction of the Government will be reached before June," the announcement states.
At the session, as they said, "full support was expressed for Vice President Maja Vukićević, the head of the Montenegrin delegation in PSSE, to vote against the admission of so-called Kosovo to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe".
"The GO was also informed about the party's activities to mark the 25th anniversary of the NATO aggression against the FRY," it concludes.
