Vučićević: Spajić and Mandić to prevent the introduction of forced labor, we protect ourselves from Jovanović's attacks on the government

The leader of the Budva Movement for Change (PzP) Nikola Vučićević asked the Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić to prevent the introduction of forced administration in the Municipality of Budva with the assessment that the necessary conditions have been adopted.

He commented on yesterday's parliamentary session stating that the councilors of that party prevented the removal of Milo Božović from the position of the President of the Municipality, which was advocated by Nikola Jovanović and the councilors gathered around him.

Vučićević, on behalf of the Budva PzP, distanced himself from Jovanović's attacks on the Government, stating that the party wants good relations with the Government and not to radicalize Budva.

"At yesterday's session of the Budva Municipal Assembly (SO), there were very important events that led to serious developments and reaching an agreement within the coalition of the list 'Budva first - Milo Božović'. First, the ruling majority split into two clubs, which clearly indicated that further moves would lead the ship to a safe harbor. The formation of aldermen's clubs is good in every respect because it put an end to the divisions within the ruling coalition and it became crystal clear who has what at their disposal, and thus, on the one hand, stable conditions were created for the current majority to manage the city, until regular elections, while on the other hand, it remains clear that the division within these two councilor clubs will be carried out according to this principle, one consisting of NSD and PZP or 10 councilors and the other belonging to Nikola Jovanović, i.e. part of the councilors gathered around the head of the parliament...", pointed out Vučićević. .

However, as he said, when the item on the suspension of Milo Bozović came up on the agenda, something completely unexpected happened.

"Namely, the current head of the parliament with the people around him advocated for the adoption of the point that Milo Bozović is temporarily removed from the position of the president of the municipality, which was explained by the head of the SO and who, together with his seven councilors, took the position that Milo Bozović should be temporarily removed from the post of president. In the explanation of such a position, he stated that he personally agreed with Milo Božović in a telephone conversation. What was opposed by the councilors' club of NSD and PZP and takes a neutral position .. Namely, something happened here that was completely contrary to the expected outcome, NSD and PZP came to the protection of Božović, which made it impossible for Milo Bozović to be removed from the position of president of the Municipality of Budva.. when after a long polemic and opposing views, the SO was postponed", emphasized Vučićević.

Regarding the facts, as he said, that President Jovanović attacked the Government of Montenegro on several occasions, he, on behalf of the PzP, distanced himself from such a position.

"We want to develop good relations with the Government, and not at all to confront and radicalize Budva. I am also using this opportunity to appeal to the Prime Minister and the Assembly to stop the story about the introduction of forced administration in the Municipality of Budva, and to democratically and peacefully get out of that intention. Since two of the three conditions have been met, and the third has been temporarily postponed, we believe that the Government should put it out of force until the court's decision on the status of President Bozović, because we must be guided by the respect for the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise," concluded Vučićević. .
