The Budva board of the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) called on the President of the Municipal Assembly (SO) Nikola Jovanović to schedule a session of the SO as soon as possible, at which a decision on the shortening of the mandate will be made.
"In order for Budva to avoid another embarrassment caused by the former Democratic Front. As we predicted, the coalition and truce between the two warring parts of the former DF in Budva lasted two and a half hours last night. Namely, in those two and a half hours, we again had hospitals, garages, parking lots, new streets, everything was like in the pre-election campaign. But then suddenly, when we all thought that the new-old love would be crowned with a political marriage, a message arrived from 'Titograd via Grblje', the SDP states and adds:
"After the initial confusion of the councilors grouped around Kuljača and Mikijelj, they announced with disbelief that they still decided not to 'give Milo', by enabling, to put it mildly, illegal, forced administration in Budva. In other words, they are saving Milo by allowing Mandić to permanently remove him from his position and from the party instead of temporarily removing him from his job. It was seen that even they themselves are not clear about what it is about, but the message from 'Titograd' is not being questioned. After several defeats within his party, Mandic still showed that he is still the head of the state parliament above the head of the local parliament. By handing Budva over to the Europe Now Movement, he bought himself a seat in the government and got rid of the pain of the former Budva DF. By offering a hand of reconciliation to the people who politically betrayed him and Božović several times in just one year, Jovanović deservedly received a slap, which probably taught him that there is no just solution to the crisis except shortening the mandate!", the announcement concludes.
