In the elections in Budva, 19 thousand citizens have the right to vote

26 residents of this municipality will have the right to vote in the local elections in Budva on May 19.042.

The Ministry of the Interior (MUP) said that it was a voter who was registered in the voter's list yesterday, when the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, announced the elections.

The number of voters in the voter list in Budva, according to which the previous elections were held in June 2023, is 18.909.

"The voter can inspect the voter list in person, at the counters of the Branch for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in Budva, every working day (from Monday to Friday) from 8:14 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., with a valid ID card or travel document (passport) "During the immediate inspection, the voter can request to change the data entered in the voter's list," the MUP said.

Inspection of the voter list can also be done online, on the website biraci.me, by entering the number of the ID card or travel document and thus check at which polling station you are voting.

"Given that the accuracy of the address where a citizen lives is important for the accuracy of the voter list, the portal has the option of submitting an electronic request for a change of address within the municipality where he has registered residence. Also, a citizen can submit a request for a change of address in person, at the counters of the Regional Unit/Branch for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the municipality where he has registered residence," they explained.

Voters who have an electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, can view the voter list directly and via the internet portal https://e.servis.mup.gov.me/ using the electronic identification certificate embedded in the electronic identity card.

"Also, voters, using the electronic identification certificate and the certificate for qualified electronic signature, which are embedded in the electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, through the above-mentioned internet portal, can electronically change the address within the municipality in which they are registered residence".

Citizens of Montenegro who have the right to vote are entered in the voter list, and after the decision on calling the election, persons who acquire the right to vote no later than on the day of the election, according to their place of residence.
