The number of voters in the voter list for the local elections in Andrijevica on March 30, 2024 is 3.831, the Ministry of the Interior announced today.
They said this on the occasion of the fact that yesterday the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović announced elections for councilors in the Municipal Assembly of Andrijevica for June 2nd.
"The number of voters in the voter list in the municipality of Andrijevica according to which the previous elections were held on June 11, 2023 is: 3.850. The number of voters in the voter list for local elections in the municipality of Andrijevica on March 30, 2024 is 3.831," it is emphasized. in the statement of the MUP.
The government department headed by Danilo Šaranović (Democratic Montenegro) added that the voter can inspect the voter list in person, at the counters of the Branch for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners in Andrijevic, every working day (from Monday to Friday) from 14 a.m. to XNUMX p.m., with a valid identity card or travel document (passport).
"During direct inspection, the voter can request to change the data entered in the voter's list. The voter can inspect the voter's list directly and via the internet portal www.biraci.me. On that portal, a citizen can check whether he is on the voter list and at which polling station he is voting by entering the number of his identity card or travel document. Given that the accuracy of the address where a citizen lives is important for the accuracy of the voter list, the portal has left the possibility of submitting an electronic request for a change of address within the municipality where he has registered residence. Also, a citizen can submit a request for a change of address in person, at the counters of the Regional Unit/Branch for Administrative Affairs, Citizenship and Foreigners of the Ministry of the Interior, in the municipality where he/she has registered residence," the announcement reads.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that voters who have an electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, can inspect the voter list directly and via the internet portal. e.servis.mup.gov.me, using the electronic identification certificate embedded in the electronic identity card. Also, voters using the certificate for electronic identification and the certificate for qualified electronic signature that are embedded in the electronic identity card issued after March 30, 2020, through the above-mentioned internet portal e.servis.mup.gov.me, can electronically change their address within the municipality where they have registered residence.
"Please note that in order for a citizen to be able to view the voter's list in the described manner or change the address of residence using an electronic ID card, it is necessary to activate the certificate in the electronic ID card beforehand. Instructions on how to activate the certificate can be found on the website https://ca.elk.gov.me.Citizens of Montenegro who have the right to vote are entered in the voter list, and after the decision on calling elections and persons who acquire the right to vote no later than on the day of the election, according to the place of residence," the MUP statement concludes.
