The Democratic People's Party, New Serbian Democracy, Free and True Montenegro will participate together in the upcoming local elections in Andrijevica scheduled for June 2, it was announced today at the session of the Coordination Committee of the DNP Andrijevica, according to the party's press release.
"This number of people present at our first party meeting is the best confirmation of our strength and the reputation that the DNP enjoys in the Vasojevic region. I am happy that today together with my friends and comrades from the New Serbian Democracy, Dejan Đurović, President of Free Montenegro Vladislav Dajković and President of Prava Montenegro Marko Milačić, I can announce our joint participation in the upcoming elections. People from our coalition have not betrayed anyone, nor do they owe anything to anyone. I am not satisfied with the work of the municipal administration so far, and therefore I think that the actors who led to today's political crisis should not hold important positions in Andrijevica in the future", said DNP president and member of the Assembly Milan Knežević.
Knežević invited all political parties, civic lists and movements, with the exception of DPS and satellites, to a joint list that would ensure the victory of those forces that won the historic elections on August 30, according to the DNP announcement.
NSD MP Dejan Đurović pointed out that this coalition will represent the backbone of the future government, which will not allow the management of natural resources, hydropower plants and other natural assets of Andrijevica to suspicious persons connected to the top of the former regime.
"We are ready to win and I invite all citizens of Andrijevica to join us," he said.
The Vice-President of the DNP and a member of the Parliament of Montenegro, Milun Zogović, thanked the members of the Coordination Committee of the DNP Andrijevic because, with their activities so far, they contributed to, as he said, regardless of the injustice in 2020, the DNP will be one of the main carriers of this coalition that will win the largest number of votes in the elections scheduled for June 2.
Zogović also emphasized the readiness of the coalition for broad unification in order to make the victory over DPS even more convincing, according to the announcement.
"If history has taught us anything, it's that we have to stick together if we want to survive, and then win. I do not think that the Serbian people have reason to be satisfied with the current political situation, bearing in mind that none of our national interests have been realized. That is exactly why I am happy that today we are standing side by side with Mr. Knežević and other comrades from the time of the historical struggle for the freedom of our country. We give our word: As we won on August 30, we will win on June 2 in Andrijevica," said the president of Free Montenegro, Vladislav Dajković.
The President of Prava Montenegro, Marko Milačić, said that he was happy to be a part of this event today and expressed his gratitude to the DNP and MP Vukićević, who, as he pointed out, bravely stepped forward and raised her voice against Kosovo's entry into the Council of Europe.
"Thus, without hesitation, she defended the will of a true and libertarian Montenegro," Milacic concluded.
