The President of the Parliament of Montenegro and the leader of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) Andrija Mandić said that he is not worried about the stability of the Government.
For RTV Nikšić, he commented on the situation regarding the stability and functioning of the Government, in light of the dispute between the Europe Now Movement (PES) and Democratic Montenegro over the security sector.
"I think we have all gathered around a bigger goal, not what the personnel policy will be. Our goal is to change Montenegro, to improve the lives of citizens, to establish the rule of law. That Montenegro be a happier country after the end of the mandate of the 44th Government. That's why I am not worried about the stability of the 44th Government. Are all individuals ready to follow this great goal? I am convinced that they are. I also believe that the Government led by Milojko Spajić will preserve the trust that the people have given it and that it will last until the end of the mandate, as would be able to present themselves with concrete results in the next elections," said Mandić.
When asked about the reconstruction of the Government, Mandic said that he "firmly believes that it will happen in June".
"The reconstruction should contribute to even greater stability and the gathering of all the forces necessary for the realization of the agreed program and goal. It was planned a year after the establishment of the Government for the simple reason that we calculated that we would need a year to achieve the goals we established. Considering that that we already solved those goals in the first three months, we initiated the issue of reconstruction earlier. We expect that after one big step forward of Montenegro, obtaining IBAR, there will be reconstruction, in order to set a new goal. And that is to be the first next member of the EU. We are doing much faster and much better than we planned," said Mandić.
